Grace Hall Chapel was constructed in 1897 by architect James Aspinwall and funded by the children of New York Representative, Orlando B. Potter, in dedication to their father. Built in the contemporary Victorian style, a popular architecture in the late 19th century and early 20th century. Most recognized is the use of half timbering as a form of cladding, similar to the Tudor structures of the Middle Ages.
After it's construction, Grace Hall Chapel offered a place for worship and congregation for the residents of Crotonville and surrounding neighborhoods.
